Training Ride with Tenby Aces

Help For Heroes
Charity Ride

Seven Aces and one fat cyclist hit the road at 6 a.m. for a 130 mile turnaround trip to Cardiff and back to Mc Donald's, Briton Ferry in search of a route for the big day.

On the day it has been agreed that a 15 mph average has got to be maintained.

Top Left - All day breakfast at The Sporting Chance? Not at 7 a.m.!
Left - The 4 a.m. start on the day won't allow time for the McDonald
stop! Pat and Richard about to enter the forbidden zone!

Right - a newly polished Jon Mills!

A flattish 50 mile that seemed to speed by. Being in a group is so different to what i normally do. Then I had to go solo - working in the afternoon. I hit some big hills to get out of Llanelli and struggled all the way home. Very tired at the end and only managed 90 miles - it can only get better!
