The sixth annual Daffodil Classic/St David's Day Cyclo Sportif will take place on Sunday, March 3rd 2013. Over the years numbers of participants have increased from the initial 28 in 2008 to 112 in 2010 to over 150 in 2011/12. Please come early enough to register and soak up the pre-event atmosphere.

All cyclists need to realise that the start of the the event is exceptioanlly tough with a 20% climb within the first mile. All cyclists are advised to warm up suitably and only attempt the hill in a gear that is appropriate to their ability! It is to some people only an early season 43 mile stroll but to others it is a tough, hilly ride which will ask questions of all riders. With a 12 o clock start there is plenty of time to complete the course. Some will return by 2 p.m. while the slower enthusiast will normally be back in Pendine by 4 p.m.

Start/Finish: Registration is at The Coffee Shop, Pendine.

The start/finish line is now in the large car park. You will be given a route card with emergency numbers if assisstance is required. There will be marshalls on the course and also a broom wagon to help cyclists in difficulty.

Two Fat Cyclists and the Stabilisers

The Two Fat Cyclists and Uncle Lyndon have sadly ended, It was always difficult with Lyndon living so far away. It was great while it lasted, so many memories we have and so many good times, especially touring! Let's hope we meet up soon.

Anyway The Two Fat Cyclists are reinvented with the addition of Uncle Keef, a guitarist who has chosen a Telecaster as his weapon of mass destruction. Pugh the sticks will also make up the band and on we go. The Two Fat Cyclists and the Stabilisers are born!

First gig, this Saturday May 19th for a private 25th anniversary party bash in Haverdforwest followed by The Dairies Club, Carmarthen on Sat 26th May.

Lots of fun to have!!!!

Saturday - Grand Slam

Les has fed us the night before with veggie cawl and bara caws.
Now all excited about getting to Manhattan to watch game.
Flag waving for Lesley before the off
Outside the Red Lion, Bleecker Street, NYC
Andy with Bryn - Half time Wales are in the lead.
Bryn hasn't played the Bowls Club, ODP, Richmond yet!

Lyndon with Bryn struggling for breath on the last big push - notice Bryn copes with it!
The man was dressed as a Leprechaun on the corner of  Times Square. Asked what part of Ireland he was from , he  had no answer, he had no English!

Five hours of walking the streets past very drunk amateurs has taken it out of us!
The parade goes on and on. We go in search of Cheesecake at Grand Central Station
