The sixth annual Daffodil Classic/St David's Day Cyclo Sportif will take place on Sunday, March 3rd 2013. Over the years numbers of participants have increased from the initial 28 in 2008 to 112 in 2010 to over 150 in 2011/12. Please come early enough to register and soak up the pre-event atmosphere.

All cyclists need to realise that the start of the the event is exceptioanlly tough with a 20% climb within the first mile. All cyclists are advised to warm up suitably and only attempt the hill in a gear that is appropriate to their ability! It is to some people only an early season 43 mile stroll but to others it is a tough, hilly ride which will ask questions of all riders. With a 12 o clock start there is plenty of time to complete the course. Some will return by 2 p.m. while the slower enthusiast will normally be back in Pendine by 4 p.m.

Start/Finish: Registration is at The Coffee Shop, Pendine.

The start/finish line is now in the large car park. You will be given a route card with emergency numbers if assisstance is required. There will be marshalls on the course and also a broom wagon to help cyclists in difficulty.
