NEW CHALLENGE - SEA TO SKY AND BACK AGAIN!

Two fat cyclists and a few friends are going to give a new challenge a go.

Raising money for the Dragon Burns Club, Morriston Hospital and the Frenchay After Burns Club in Bristol the team will attempt to cycle 272 miles in two days with a rest day stuck in the middle where they will climb Snowden.

Funds raised will be matched by Barclays Bank up to a maximum of £750.

We hope to raise at least £1500.

Sad, Sad Discovery of Once Upon a Time Racing Great

Classic Ninkynonk Racing - Battaglin Race Bike Discovered in Dire State.

This is a sight, which will have legions of vintage race bike enthusiasts in near tears. The once famous Ninkynonk Racing-Battaglin left dishevelled, un-ridden and unloved in a Pendine barn to gather dust and rust.

The Bike originally owned and raced by `Hairy` Henry Jones aka The Pontcanna Albino Sasquatch is it has to be said rather small and heavy. However this did not stop the international software sales manager racking up many great achievements on it.

This bike has graced many a Col and Mountain and amongst it most notable achievements while under Jones ’ stewardship and command once, held for a time (approx 35 metres following a jump start by Jones) 2^nd place in the 2009 Daffodil Classic. It also led to an almighty failure on the flat leg of the Mont d ’ Aberbeeg near Abertillery.

Edwards is planning to put the bike up for sale on Internet online auction sites and he believes given the huge interest in the bike that it could fetch a two-figure sum.
